Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a modern, well-equipped small animal clinic located in South London, offering a high standard of clinical care within a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice benefits from excellent transport links and a strong, experienced team, making it an ideal setting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to develop their career.

Role Description
This is a varied Registered Veterinary Nurse role where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care across all aspects of the practice. You will support surgical procedures, carry out nurse-led appointments, and utilise Schedule 3 skills where appropriate.

Your responsibilities will include patient monitoring, managing admissions and discharges, dispensing medications, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. You will also contribute to team coordination through briefings and support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This role offers a strong mix of clinical duties and teamwork, with opportunities for continued development.

Team Size
You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team including 3 veterinary surgeons, a strong nursing team, a dedicated front-of-house team, and a Practice Manager, all working collaboratively.

Practice Details
The practice is set across three spacious floors and is finished to a high standard. It is well-equipped with digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, three consultation rooms, two theatres, and a prep area. The clinic also features a spacious staff room, providing a comfortable environment for team members. The practice benefits from excellent transport links, making it easily accessible.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with experience delivering high standards of patient and client care. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. Experience supporting nurse consults and understanding their impact on practice efficiency is important, along with the ability to positively influence and support colleagues.
