This is a part-time position working 20 hours across two days per week. Saturday duties are shared on a 1:9 rota. Specific weekday shift times and out-of-hours requirements have not been provided.
Role Description
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will work within a nurse-led clinical environment, with opportunities to utilise a broad range of nursing skills across a diverse first opinion caseload. The practice handles a variety of medical, diagnostic and surgical cases, providing plenty of scope for hands-on nursing and continued clinical development.
Funded CPD is available to support professional development, while the collaborative working environment encourages nurses to make a meaningful contribution to patient care and clinical standards.
Team Size
The successful candidate will join a supportive and inclusive clinical team where individual contributions are valued. The practice operates with a collaborative, non-hierarchical approach focused on maintaining high standards of clinical care. Specific team numbers have not been provided.
Practice Details & Equipment
The clinic features six spacious consultation rooms and two fully equipped operating theatres. Diagnostic facilities include a dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray, an ultrasound room and a separate X-ray suite with digital radiography.
Separate dog and cat wards provide dedicated spaces for feline and canine inpatients, helping to improve patient comfort throughout their stay.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to fully utilise their nursing skills within a nurse-led environment. They should be comfortable working across a varied clinical caseload and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
A collaborative approach, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for accessible veterinary care will be particularly well suited to the practice’s community-focused ethos.
