Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice/hospital and operates a modern, purpose-built small animal practice in Liverpool. The practice is part of a large, independent veterinary group with a nationwide presence and is committed to delivering exceptional clinical care within a supportive and progressive working environment. The team prides itself on collaboration, continuous development, and maintaining high standards of patient and client care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working four days per week. The rota includes a 1 in 4 weekend rotation and duty nights when required. The working pattern is designed to provide variety while maintaining team support and continuity of care.

Role Description
The Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care across a varied caseload. Responsibilities include inpatient care, theatre support, nurse consultations, patient monitoring, and supporting both surgical and medical procedures. You will work collaboratively within a growing and motivated team, contributing to clinical excellence and exceptional customer service. The practice actively encourages ongoing professional development and supports nurses in advancing their skills and clinical interests.

Team Size
You will join a dedicated and expanding clinical team, including Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, and support staff. Many team members are working towards certificates, creating a learning-focused and development-driven environment.

Practice Details
The practice is purpose-built with modern facilities designed to support high standards of patient care. Equipped with up-to-date technology and spacious clinical areas, the surgery provides a wide range of small animal services in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for patient care and teamwork. You will be proactive, adaptable, and confident working within a varied caseload. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional development are essential, along with a positive and supportive approach to team collaboration.
