Introduction
Our Client’s hospital is a progressive, independent veterinary group operating across two sites in Norfolk, offering 24-hour care and holding RCVS Hospital Standard accreditation. With a strong focus on innovation, gold-standard clinical care, and team development, the practice has grown into a large and dynamic team delivering exceptional service to both patients and clients.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a dedicated twilight role working Monday to Friday, with shifts typically between 3:00pm–11:00pm or 4:00pm–12:00am, including a 45-minute break. The position is based primarily at the hospital site, supporting evening workflows, patient care, and the transition from day to night teams.

Role Description
As a Twilight RVN, you will work across multiple areas of the hospital including wards, theatre, and front-of-house. Responsibilities include inpatient care, assisting with anaesthesia and surgical preparation, administering medications, supporting diagnostic imaging, and maintaining high hygiene and clinical standards. You will play a key role in evening patient handovers, emergency triage, and ensuring continuity of care between day and night teams.

Team Size
You will be part of a large, experienced multidisciplinary team of nearly 60 staff, working collaboratively across both hospital and branch settings.

Practice Details
The practice is an independent, multi-site veterinary hospital delivering 24/7 care, supported by modern facilities and advanced clinical equipment. It promotes a culture of continuous learning, utilising up-to-date technology and structured protocols to ensure exceptional standards of care.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified RVN who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced hospital environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently during evening hours, and a commitment to high clinical standards are essential.

Equipment
The practice is well-equipped with a wide range of modern veterinary equipment including anaesthetic machines, blood transfusion equipment, crash trolleys, diathermy, endoscopy equipment, heat mats, laboratory equipment, multiparameter monitors, radiography (X-ray equipment), and ultrasound equipment, supporting both routine and advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures.
