Our Client’s hospital is a well-established, independent veterinary group based across two sites in Norfolk, delivering gold-standard patient and client care 24/7. Since opening in 2013, the practice has grown significantly, achieving RCVS Hospital Standard status and expanding to a team of nearly 60 professionals. Working Hours / Rota
This role follows a structured rotating shift pattern across both sites, including early, daytime, evening, and late shifts. Weekend work is required on a 1 in 5 rota, with time off in lieu. There is also a shared responsibility for night shifts on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 15), supporting inpatient and emergency care, with appropriate rest periods before and after. Flexibility is required to cover shifts across both locations when needed.

Role Description
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high standards of clinical care, supporting veterinary surgeons in all aspects of patient treatment and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Duties include inpatient care, assisting with surgical and medical procedures, running nurse clinics, triaging emergencies, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also support student nurses and have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities such as clinical coaching or departmental ownership, alongside ongoing professional development.

Team Size
You will be joining a large, collaborative team of nearly 60 colleagues across both sites, including experienced veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff, all working together in a supportive and progressive environment.

Practice Details
This is a multi-site, independent veterinary hospital group with RCVS Hospital accreditation, offering both first opinion and hospital-level care. The practice operates 24/7, providing emergency and inpatient services alongside routine care. The team utilises modern systems and protocols to ensure high clinical standards, with a strong focus on training, development, and continuous improvement.

Equipment
The practice is well-equipped with a wide range of modern veterinary equipment including anaesthetic machines, blood transfusion equipment, crash trolleys, diathermy, endoscopy equipment, heat mats, laboratory equipment, multiparameter monitors, radiography (X-ray equipment), and ultrasound equipment, supporting both routine and advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures.
