Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a well-established small animal practice located in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The clinic holds silver standard cat-friendly accreditation and is committed to delivering exceptional patient and client care within a supportive and community-focused environment.

Hinckley is a charming market town positioned between Leicester and Coventry, offering excellent commuter links and a vibrant town centre with shops, cafés, and restaurants.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital in Leamington Spa.

Role Description
In this role, you will deliver high standards of nursing care, carrying out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities, while supporting consultations, surgeries, and procedures in line with regulatory and operational standards.

You will be responsible for patient monitoring, managing admissions and discharges, and ensuring excellent inpatient care. Strong client communication is essential, as you will play a key role in delivering compassionate and informative support to pet owners.

The position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive team, contributing to ongoing clinical development and high standards of care.

Team Size
You will join a supportive and collaborative team environment within a well-established practice, working alongside Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, and support staff committed to exceptional patient care.

Practice Details
The practice is a silver standard cat-friendly clinic featuring a separate cat waiting area, separate cat and dog wards, and an isolation facility. It offers a wide range of small animal services within a welcoming and well-equipped clinical setting.

The location provides excellent access to major motorway networks and nearby cities while maintaining the charm and convenience of a market town.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You will demonstrate strong teamwork skills, professionalism, and confidence in nurse-led consultations and inpatient care.
