Job Description

We are recruiting Registered Veterinary Nurses across Great Yarmouth and the wider Norfolk coastal region, working with independent practices, established veterinary groups, and small-animal or mixed practices.

Whether you are a newly qualified RVN seeking your first permanent role or an experienced nurse looking for a close-knit team, career development, or improved work–life balance, we recruit for a range of permanent nursing opportunities.

Many practices in and around Great Yarmouth offer flexible working patterns, including part-time roles and reduced weekend commitments. Several positions operate with no OOH, while others provide shared or compensated OOH rotas depending on practice setup.

Typical responsibilities include nurse consultations, anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, theatre work, diagnostic support, Schedule 3 procedures, clinical record-keeping, and client communication. Some roles also offer scope to develop additional skills within a community-focused or coastal practice environment.

Why work with us?

We focus on accurate job matching, transparency, and a straightforward recruitment process. You will only be introduced to permanent Vet Surgeon roles that align with your salary expectations, rota preferences, and clinical interests.

Support includes:

  • Full role details before interview

  • Honest salary and benefits information

  • Interview preparation and offer negotiation

  • Long-term career and progression guidance

Requirements

  • RCVS registration

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Recent small-animal clinical experience (typically 2+ years unless stated otherwise)

  • Competent in routine consultations and surgery

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
