Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned Hospital seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced inpatient wards team.

Rota Details
This full-time position involves a 40-hour week on a rotating shift pattern, including a 1 in 4 weekend rota and bank holiday participation. Shift options include five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days. Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Information About the Practice
The hospital team includes Specialist surgeons, residents, interns, RVNs, and veterinary care assistants, all committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care. New nurses receive a structured 12-week induction, dedicated mentoring, quarterly one-to-ones, annual appraisals, and regular in-house CPD led by nursing staff.

Description of the Role
The role focuses on providing advanced nursing care to inpatients undergoing complex orthopaedic and neurological treatments. Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative patient care, maintaining high standards of nursing, and working effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified RVN with excellent clinical and communication skills, confidence with advanced medical and surgical cases, and a strong passion for inpatient care. Referral experience is an advantage but not essential.
