Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s hospital in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its dedicated and supportive team within a busy 24/7 hospital environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN looking to further develop their nursing skills while working across a varied and rewarding caseload in a practice committed to making veterinary care more accessible and affordable.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across a 4-day working week. The rota includes 2 in 9 weekends. The hospital benefits from a dedicated night team providing around-the-clock patient care.
Role Description
The successful candidate will work across a broad range of medical, surgical and referral cases within a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties will include inpatient care, theatre support, surgical nursing, patient monitoring and delivering exceptional patient and client care. The role offers excellent exposure to advanced diagnostics and referral work, providing fantastic opportunities to further develop clinical nursing skills and experience.
Team Size
The hospital operates with a supportive multidisciplinary team alongside a dedicated night team delivering continuous patient care.
Practice Details
The 24/7 hospital is fully equipped with advanced facilities including fully equipped theatres, a dental suite and an imaging suite with CT. The addition of referral services has further expanded the variety and complexity of cases managed within the hospital, offering an excellent environment for continued professional development.
