Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a corporately owned practice in Dewsbury, seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse who shares their mission to make veterinary care more accessible and affordable. This role offers a varied caseload that will allow you to use your full nursing skillset while contributing to the practice’s commitment to exceptional and inclusive pet care.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with a 1:7 Saturday rota and participation in a share of bank holidays.
Role Description
The successful candidate will work closely with the veterinary team to provide high-quality nursing care across a wide range of cases. Duties will include inpatient care, anaesthesia monitoring, laboratory work, and client communication. This role also provides opportunities to develop your skills further, with CPD funded up to certificate level.
Team Size
You will be part of a supportive and passionate team including veterinary surgeons, fellow RVNs, student nurses, and dedicated support staff.
Practice Details
This modern, well-equipped practice is part of a not-for-profit veterinary group that prioritises clinical excellence and community accessibility. The caseload is diverse, covering medical, surgical, and preventative care, and the team is committed to ensuring no pet is denied treatment due to cost.
