Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned veterinary group with an excellent reputation for investing in its people, facilities and clinical standards. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new practice opening in Crowborough, offering the chance to become part of a growing team from day one within a supportive, family-owned environment that values work-life balance and career development.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working a five-day week with participation in an every-other-Saturday morning rota. There are no on-call duties, no Sunday working and no Bank Holiday commitments, providing an excellent work-life balance.
Role Description
This role offers the opportunity to work within a brand-new first opinion practice delivering high-quality nursing care across a varied caseload. You will be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including theatre, inpatient care, anaesthesia, nurse consultations and client communication, while working closely with experienced veterinary surgeons and visiting specialists. The practice welcomes applications from both Registered Veterinary Nurses and experienced Student Veterinary Nurses, offering a supportive environment with excellent opportunities for clinical development and long-term career progression.

You will join a friendly and collaborative team within a growing independent veterinary group, working alongside experienced veterinary surgeons, nurses and support staff who are committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is a brand-new, purpose-built veterinary surgery equipped with digital radiography, ultrasonography and an integrated in-house IDEXX laboratory. Dedicated surgical facilities support both the practice team and visiting specialist surgeons, allowing for a varied and interesting caseload. Conveniently located alongside a busy pet retail and grooming centre, the practice is ideally positioned to establish a strong client base from opening.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be either an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse or an experienced Student Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be enthusiastic, proactive and enjoy working as part of a supportive team. A commitment to continuous learning, excellent communication skills and a positive approach to client care will be highly valued.
