Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s hospital in Bolton is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its supportive and inclusive team within a busy 24-hour hospital environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse looking to utilise and develop their nursing skills across a diverse and rewarding caseload while contributing to a mission focused on making veterinary care more accessible and affordable.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across a 4-day working week. The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends covering both Saturday and Sunday with time off in lieu provided. The hospital operates as a 24-hour site.
Role Description
The successful candidate will work across a varied medical and surgical caseload within a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties will include inpatient care, supporting surgical procedures, intensive nursing care, patient monitoring and delivering exceptional standards of patient and client care. The role offers exposure to orthopaedic procedures and advanced diagnostics, providing excellent opportunities to further develop nursing skills and clinical experience.

Practice Details
The 24-hour hospital features 8 consulting rooms, 3 theatres, a dedicated dental x-ray suite and CT scanner. Separate dog and cat wards are available alongside a specialised ICU ward for intensive nursing care. The hospital manages a varied caseload including both medical and surgical cases with weekly orthopaedic procedures performed onsite.
