Introduction
Our Client is a non-profit, community-focused veterinary practice in Blackburn, Lancashire seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its supportive clinical team. Operating as a Community Interest Company, the practice focuses on making high-quality veterinary care more accessible and affordable while providing its nursing team with a varied and rewarding caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours across four days per week, with shifts falling between 8am and 7pm. Saturday duties are shared across the team and are currently worked on a 1:11 rota, with time off in lieu provided. Specific out-of-hours requirements have not been provided.

Role Description
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will work across a diverse clinical caseload, providing the opportunity to utilise and develop a broad range of nursing skills. The practice manages a substantial surgical workload, including orthopaedic cases, alongside its wider first opinion caseload.

The role offers plenty of clinical variety within a supportive environment where nurses are encouraged to contribute to high standards of patient care. Funded CPD is available to support continued professional development.

Team Size
The successful candidate will join a supportive and inclusive clinical team where individual contributions are valued and a non-hierarchical approach encourages collaboration. Specific team numbers have not been provided.

The practice has three operating theatres, including a dedicated dental suite equipped with dental X-ray, alongside seven well-equipped consultation rooms.
