Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a non-profit, community-focused veterinary practice in Barnsley seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its supportive team. Operating as a Community Interest Company, the practice focuses on making high-quality veterinary treatment accessible and affordable while maintaining excellent clinical standards.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours across four days per week. Weekend duties are shared across the team, with time off in lieu provided for weekends worked. Specific weekend frequency and out-of-hours requirements have not been provided.
Role Description
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will work across a diverse clinical caseload, providing the opportunity to utilise a broad range of nursing skills. Cases range from routine medical and surgical work through to in-house orthopaedic procedures, providing plenty of clinical variety.
The practice encourages nurses to make a meaningful contribution to patient care while working within an inclusive environment focused on clinical excellence and accessible veterinary treatment. Funded CPD is available to support continued professional development.
