Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice committed to transforming the veterinary experience through beautifully designed clinics, innovative in-house technology and exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a forward-thinking team and help deliver a modern, seamless approach to veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working within a structured rota that includes participation in the nurse consultation service and surgical support. Flexibility is encouraged to meet the needs of the practice.

Role Description
This varied role involves delivering outstanding clinical nursing care across a busy first opinion caseload. Responsibilities include conducting nurse consultations, performing screening procedures, monitoring general anaesthesia, administering treatments under veterinary direction, maintaining accurate clinical records and assisting veterinary surgeons during surgical and non-surgical procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout clinical areas, monitoring stock levels, supporting inpatient care and educating clients on routine and preventative healthcare. Working alongside an experienced veterinary team, you will play an important role in maintaining clinical excellence while continuing to develop your own skills.

You will join a collaborative team of experienced veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff who are committed to delivering exceptional care within a positive, people-first culture.

The practice is a modern, purpose-built clinic designed to provide a calm and welcoming environment for pets, clients and the veterinary team. Equipped with innovative in-house technology, the practice focuses on delivering seamless, high-quality veterinary care while creating an enjoyable workplace that supports professional growth and development.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with previous clinical nursing experience, confidence in nurse consultations and general anaesthetic monitoring, and strong surgical nursing skills. You will possess excellent communication skills, work well both independently and within a team, and demonstrate initiative in a busy clinical environment. Experience with practice management systems and a good understanding of infection control and quarantine procedures would be advantageous.
