The practice forms part of a growing independent group that reinvests into its people and facilities while maintaining a strong focus on work-life balance and clinical development.
Working Hours / Rota
The full-time position is based across five days per week with every other Saturday morning. There are no on-call duties, Sundays or bank holiday requirements, helping to provide a predictable and sustainable working pattern. Flexibility around hours may also be available depending on the successful candidate.
Role Description
The successful candidate will work across a varied first opinion caseload, supporting consultations, surgical procedures, diagnostics and general patient care. The role provides the opportunity to utilise a broad range of nursing skills within a modern clinical environment.
Continued professional development is strongly encouraged, with a generous CPD budget available and opportunities to work alongside visiting clinicians using the practice’s dedicated surgical facilities.
Team Size
The successful candidate will join an established clinical and support team within a wider independent veterinary group. Specific team numbers at the Ascot practice have not been provided.
Practice Details & Equipment
The modern practice is located in Ascot within the Royal Borough of Windsor, close to Ascot Racecourse and within commuting distance of London. Facilities include digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasonography, an integrated IDEXX in-house laboratory and dedicated surgical facilities used by both the practice team and visiting clinicians.
Ideal Candidate
The practice is looking for a dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse or experienced Student Veterinary Nurse who is keen to contribute to a supportive and progressive clinical environment. Candidates should have strong patient-care standards, work well as part of a team and be enthusiastic about developing their nursing skills.
