Job Description
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at their 24-hour practice in Wokingham.
This is a full-time position, with a unique working pattern of 7 nights on and 14 nights off, working 14 hours per night. Due to the nature of night work, the role offers a high level of autonomy. The ideal candidate will be trusted to work independently but must also be a team player with excellent client and customer care skills and a commitment to providing high standards of inpatient care.
The practice provides out-of-hours care, hospitalisation, and case work-up for surrounding branches, as well as first-opinion services throughout the week. The team includes a range of experience and skill, including certificate holders and experienced ECC colleagues, creating a welcoming and social environment.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to clients, assisting with surgeries and procedures, carrying out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities, monitoring patient care, and managing admissions and discharges. The role will also involve dispensing and checking medications, delivering professional excellence, and ensuring the practice operates in compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
