Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned 24-hour hospital seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their well-equipped and busy hospital team in Camberwell, Greater London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to develop their skills across medical, surgical and emergency and critical care nursing within a supportive and progressive hospital environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time night role working a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rolling rota pattern.
Role Description
You will work alongside a dedicated Night Veterinary Surgeon, delivering high standards of inpatient and emergency care throughout the out-of-hours period.
Your responsibilities will include patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, supporting surgical and diagnostic procedures, and carrying out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities where appropriate.
You will ensure full compliance with regulatory and operational standards while maintaining clear and compassionate communication with clients.
This role offers exposure to a wide and complex caseload within a busy hospital setting, providing excellent opportunities for professional development in ECC and advanced nursing care.
Team and Practice Environment
You will be part of a dedicated night team within a busy 24-hour hospital that handles a varied and complex caseload. The environment is collaborative and focused on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
You will be confident working in a hospital environment, thrive in emergency and critical care settings and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
A proactive and professional approach, alongside a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards, is essential for this role.
