Job Description

Due to the practice expanding, this corporately owned group are looking for another experienced Vet to join the team

This is a Full or Part-Time Position with full-time hours consisting of 4x 9-hour days, 1 in 6 Sat Mornings, and 1 in 6 Full Weekends, but the practice is open to part-time applicants. There are no OOHs for this role.

This is made up of a 24 Hour, Small Animal RCVS Accredited Hospital with 5 branch surgeries and a physiotherapy/hydrotherapy centre and you will be joining a team of Vets that are passionate and committed to patient and client care. These vets are also made up of certificate holders in medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, ECC, and diagnostic imaging as well as Advanced Practitioners in medicine and certificate holders in cardiology, dermatology and ECC.

Lead Veterinary Surgeons are responsible for line management of the vet team, maintaining high standards of patient and client care and optimising the uptake of clinical services. You will work closely with and assist the Clinical Director to provide leadership, training, and development of the vet team in addition to providing guidance and support to the nursing and client care team. The position will include half a day per week of protected non-clinical time to perform these additional responsibilities.
