Our Client is a corporately owned practice/hospital and operates a well-established small animal practice located in Folkestone, Kent. Situated in a vibrant seaside town with excellent transport links to London, the practice offers an ideal balance between coastal living and city access. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a Lead role, shaping the direction of the practice while delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and well-connected regional network.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time permanent position. Working hours and rota patterns will be discussed to suit the needs of the practice and the successful candidate. The role is designed to support a healthy work-life balance while meeting the clinical and leadership requirements of the practice.

Role Description
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will take a key leadership role within the practice, combining hands-on clinical work with mentoring and supporting the wider veterinary and nursing teams. You will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, developing tailored treatment plans, and fostering strong client relationships. The role includes inspiring and developing colleagues, contributing to clinical governance, and supporting the continued growth and success of the practice with the backing of a large veterinary group.

Team Size
You will work within a friendly and supportive team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, and support staff, all committed to delivering excellent patient care and client service.
