Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned veterinary practice in Bisley, Surrey seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Head Veterinary Nurse position. With a new clinical leader recently joining the practice, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing the nursing team, shaping how the practice operates and supporting its continued growth.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent, full-time position. Weekend duties include an 8-hour shift at a nearby 24-hour hospital every fourth weekend, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays. The successful candidate will also participate in the hospital’s on-call rota. Specific weekday hours and the frequency of on-call duties have not been provided.

Role Description
The successful candidate will become an important member of the practice leadership team, combining hands-on nursing with responsibility for developing and supporting nursing colleagues, maintaining high clinical standards and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Working closely with the practice’s clinical leadership, the Head Veterinary Nurse will have genuine autonomy to influence nursing standards, team development and practice processes.
