Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s hospital is a well-established 24-hour veterinary facility located in a vibrant and well-connected area of London. The hospital handles a dynamic and diverse caseload, ranging from routine consultations to complex emergency and critical care cases, offering an excellent environment for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead and develop within a progressive clinical setting.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, with a 1 in 6 weekend rota.

Role Description
This is a Head RVN position where you will play a key role in leading the nursing team and ensuring the highest standards of patient and client care are consistently delivered. You will be involved in nurse-led appointments, Schedule 3 procedures, and supporting both consultations and surgeries.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will provide leadership, mentoring, and development to the nursing team, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. You will also oversee patient care from admission to discharge and ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.

You will be working alongside a skilled and supportive team of veterinary surgeons and nurses within a well-established hospital environment.
