Our Client is a corporately owned practice preparing to open a brand-new veterinary clinic in Beaconsfield. Designed to transform the veterinary experience through beautifully designed facilities and bespoke in-house technology, the practice offers an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team from the very beginning and help shape a modern, high-quality clinical environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time Head Nurse position. Working hours and rota can be discussed during the recruitment process.
Role Description
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Head Nurse, or a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse ready to take the next step in their career. You will lead and support the nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while overseeing the day-to-day running of the clinical environment. Responsibilities include mentoring and developing the nursing team, managing daily clinical operations, collaborating with the veterinary team on patient care, overseeing equipment maintenance, monitoring stock and medical supplies, and ensuring clinical protocols are consistently followed. You will also play an important role in fostering a positive team culture and supporting the continued growth of this brand-new practice.
Team Size
You will lead a growing team of Registered Veterinary Nurses and support staff, working closely with the veterinary team to establish a collaborative, positive and patient-focused culture from the outset.

The practice is a brand-new, purpose-built veterinary clinic designed to deliver a modern, seamless veterinary experience. Featuring bespoke in-house technology and contemporary facilities, it has been created to provide an outstanding environment for patients, clients and the clinical team while supporting exceptional standards of veterinary care.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head Nurse or an accomplished RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with the confidence and leadership ability to step into a management role. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, a strong understanding of veterinary nursing practices and a passion for developing and supporting others. Experience leading teams, maintaining clinical standards and embracing innovative technology will be highly advantageous.
