Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned small animal practice seeking a confident and motivated Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse ready to step into a leadership position and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient and client care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working Hours

Role Description
As Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will oversee daily clinical standards and ensure the smooth running of the practice. You will lead nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures, support consultations and surgeries, and maintain high levels of regulatory and operational compliance.
You will work closely with the Lead Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Manager, helping to foster a positive and supportive culture while driving efficiency and high standards of care throughout the clinic.
A key part of the role will involve mentoring and developing the nursing team, providing clinical leadership, encouragement and guidance to help colleagues reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will be a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
You will have experience mentoring or supporting colleagues and be confident in guiding a nursing team to deliver high clinical standards. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential.
