Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned veterinary practice in Stroud Green, Greater London seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to take on a Head Veterinary Nurse position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN looking to combine hands-on clinical nursing with leadership, mentoring and responsibility for maintaining high clinical standards.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. Specific working hours, weekend requirements and out-of-hours duties have not been provided and can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Role Description
The successful candidate will take clinical leadership of the nursing team while remaining actively involved in patient care. Responsibilities will include leading nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities, supporting consultations and surgical procedures, monitoring patients and managing admissions and discharges.

The Head Veterinary Nurse will also provide leadership, development and support to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of clinical care, regulatory compliance and day-to-day practice operations.

Team Size
The successful candidate will lead and support the practice’s nursing team while working closely with veterinary and support colleagues. Specific team numbers have not been provided.

Practice Details
The practice provides a busy clinical environment with access to wider clinical resources, internal CPD and 24-hour hospital support through the wider veterinary network. Specific facilities and equipment have not been provided.
