Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned hospital and operates as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC). They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly team at their Ashton Hospital as a dedicated Consulting Vet. The organisation is committed to providing accessible, affordable, high-quality veterinary care, offering free daytime consultations and transparent pricing to remove financial barriers for pet owners while maintaining exceptional clinical standards.

Working Hours / Rota
This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time hours are 40 hours per week over a four-day week, with participation in a 2 in 9 weekend rota. Applications from candidates seeking part-time hours are also welcomed.

Role Description
This role focuses primarily on consultations, providing an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys client interaction and managing a varied first opinion caseload. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of medical cases, predominantly involving sick and injured pets, delivering high standards of clinical care while building strong relationships with clients.

Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to the practice’s commitment to providing affordable veterinary care while benefiting from ongoing professional development in a collaborative environment with minimal hierarchy.
