Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a friendly and well-established small animal practice located in the heart of North Oxford. Led by two experienced partners with strong clinical expertise, the practice prides itself on providing high-quality patient care within a supportive, collaborative and positive team environment.
The practice offers an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their career within a close-knit team while benefiting from strong leadership, varied case exposure and access to wider hospital support.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across 4 days.
The rota includes either 1 in 3 or 1 in 6 full weekends at the nearby 24-hour hospital in Woodstock, alongside a fair share of out-of-hours and bank holiday cover. The varied rota provides exposure to a broad and engaging caseload.
Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will provide high standards of patient care across consultations and surgery while ensuring full regulatory and operational compliance. Responsibilities include developing tailored treatment plans, managing cases effectively and working collaboratively within the wider clinical team.
The role also offers opportunities to contribute to clinical development through shared learning, internal CPD and participation within wider clinical communities and hospital support networks.

The practice is located in North Oxford within easy walking distance of the train station, University Parks and the city centre. The team benefits from strong links to the Woodstock 24-hour hospital, allowing access to additional emergency and advanced case support.
