Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned small animal practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a high-performing, advanced first-opinion clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician to work within a progressive environment that prioritises clinical excellence, teamwork, and high standards of patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over four days, with 1 in 6 weekends included in the rota.

Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will be accountable for delivering exceptional clinical care across consultations and surgical procedures, ensuring the highest levels of regulatory, clinical, and operational compliance. The role involves managing a varied caseload within an advanced first-opinion setting, developing tailored treatment plans, and communicating clearly and compassionately with clients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a skilled veterinary and nursing team, sharing clinical knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues across the wider practice community.

Team Size
The practice is supported by an experienced and collaborative team of Veterinary Surgeons, including certificate holders, alongside skilled nurses and support staff, all working together to deliver consistently high standards of care.

Practice Details
The practice operates as an advanced first-opinion clinic with strong surgical and diagnostic capabilities. The clinical environment supports a broad and interesting caseload and encourages ongoing professional development within a structured and supportive team setting.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid experience in small animal practice.
