Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is an independent practice seeking a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative environment within a well-regarded local practice.
Rota Details
The role is full time, comprising a 4.5-day week with a 1 in 8 weekend rota. Time off in lieu is provided for weekend work. There are no OOH duties, with any inpatients cared for overnight by a dedicated night nurse.

This is a modern, well-equipped, 1st opinion practice with a strong reputation in the community. The team includes 8 Veterinary Surgeons and 15 qualified, experienced RVNs, creating a supportive and knowledgeable clinical environment.
Description of the Role
The role offers a varied caseload with the opportunity to work cases up to a high standard, ensuring continuity of care. Clinical freedom is encouraged, and team members are supported in sharing their knowledge and pursuing their own clinical interests. Consultations are up to 20 minutes to allow time for thorough workups and client communication.

The ideal candidate will be a confident vet who enjoys building client relationships, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering high standards of clinical care. Those interested in developing a particular area of expertise or pursuing certification are actively supported.
