Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice in Welling, South East London is a welcoming and well-established small animal surgery offering an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking strong work-life balance alongside continued professional development. The practice combines a supportive and collaborative team culture with modern facilities and excellent access to nearby 24-hour hospital support.
Located within a peaceful suburban area with convenient transport links into Central London, the practice offers the perfect balance between city accessibility and community-focused living.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time role working 3 days per week.
The rota includes either 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital. The practice is also flexible with working patterns and can accommodate half-day arrangements where required.
Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will manage consultations, surgery and case workups while delivering high standards of patient and client care. The role offers support for developing interests in medicine, surgery and diagnostics within a collaborative and encouraging clinical environment.
The practice would suit both experienced and newly qualified Veterinary Surgeons looking to grow professionally while benefiting from strong team support, funded CPD and access to wider clinical communities and hospital facilities.
Team Size
The practice team includes a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon, an experienced nursing team and a supportive Practice Manager working together within a friendly and collaborative environment focused on excellent patient care.

The surgery is modern and well-equipped with spacious consultation rooms, a dedicated theatre and advanced diagnostic facilities. The practice also benefits from close links to a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing additional support and access to advanced care when required.

Ideal Candidate
