Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who thrives in a collaborative, inclusive and non-hierarchical environment where every team member contributes to clinical excellence.
The organisation operates as a Community Interest Company, with a clear mission to provide affordable veterinary care and ensure that no pet goes untreated when there is a viable option available. Their focus is on sustainable service delivery rather than profit maximisation, reinvesting into patient care and their teams.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent position working 38 hours per week across a 4-day working week.
The rota includes 2 in 9 Saturday day shifts, currently worked at a nearby hospital site, along with a share of Bank Holidays.
Role Description
You will manage a varied caseload within a supportive clinical environment, contributing to high standards of patient care while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
The role offers the opportunity to practise in a setting where free consultations and transparent pricing remove barriers to treatment, allowing clinicians to focus on delivering appropriate and compassionate care.
You will be encouraged to develop professionally, with strong CPD support including certificate-level funding.
About the Organisation
This is the only veterinary Community Interest Company in the UK. The organisation’s vision is centred around making veterinary care accessible, particularly for clients who may otherwise struggle to afford treatment.
The culture promotes equality, inclusivity and teamwork, ensuring that all colleagues feel valued and supported in delivering the organisation’s mission.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in general practice and committed to delivering accessible, high-quality care.
You will be a team-focused individual who thrives in an inclusive, supportive and collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions are essential.
A commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with the organisation’s community-focused mission will be key to success in this role.
