Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a close-knit, experienced team in a recently refurbished and custom-built facility.

Working Hours / Rota
This role is 4 days per week with 1 in 6 full weekends. Part-time options are available.

Role Description
The successful candidate will deliver excellent clinical care through consultations and procedures, provide clear client communication, uphold regulatory and practice standards, and develop tailored care plans. They will play a role in mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, and supporting the wider clinical community.

Team Size
The team comprises 2 Veterinary Surgeons and 5 Nurses and reception staff.

Practice Details
The practice has undergone a recent refurbishment and includes separate cat and dog kennelling areas, with a prep area centrally located between the x-ray suite, theatre, and consult rooms. It is situated in a picturesque area with a loyal, compliant client base and a strong, team-oriented culture.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered with experience in clinical care, teamwork, and leadership. They should understand and support nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, and be confident in mentoring and influencing others to promote a progressive clinical culture.
