Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a well-equipped small animal veterinary clinic located in Penzance, just minutes from the seafront. The practice is RCVS Practice Standards Scheme accredited at GP level and prides itself on delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and environmentally conscious environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time role working 20–30 hours per week, with a share of Saturday morning rota. There are no out-of-hours requirements, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
Role Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and collaborative team within a well-established practice.
The role includes a mix of consultations and surgical duties, offering a varied caseload and the opportunity to work cases up to a high clinical standard. With 15-minute consultations and well-managed diaries, you will have the time and support to provide excellent patient care.
You will work closely with a supportive team, contributing to a positive working environment while maintaining high clinical standards and building strong client relationships.
Team Size
The team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and a dedicated reception and administrative team.

The practice is a modern, well-equipped small animal clinic with a strong reputation for high standards of care. It is RCVS accredited and recognised for its environmentally friendly initiatives, including achieving “plastic-free” status. The clinic offers a supportive and social working environment with a loyal client base.

The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal practice, confident in both consulting and surgical work. You will have strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
