Job Description

The Role

A full-time position of 4.5 days a week (day off every other week) would be preferred but we are open and willing to discussing part time options.

Rota 1:5-1:6 with a day of after a weekend on call. Extra duties paid or TOIL (Racing, Events, etc).

Individuals are encouraged to develop their clinical interests within the team and work up cases on yard as much as they can.

Why Work Here?

Complete clinical autonomy within a close-knit team that includes 5 certificate holders, who discuss cases daily, and backed up by the largest equine hospital in the Northeast, with 8 diplomats (in surgery, medicine, anaesthesia, and imaging), MRI, Scintigraphy, CT, ICU and 2 operating theatres. Rainbow Equine Lab provides on-site lab support and same day reporting. Usual kit available (DRs, ultrasound, videoscopes, powered dental kit, shockwave).

We are endeavouring to improve the work life balance for our whole team, and being close to York, Leeds, the North Yorkshire Moors, and the beautiful East Coast, with trains for fast access to London or Edinburgh from Malton via York, you would be moving to a stunning part of the UK.

We understand you will need more information about this role as we have only provided a “Snapshot” of the position so please do reach out to Tim Allen.
