Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice/hospital and operates a growing small animal practice based in Tottenham Hale, North London. Conveniently located within a retail park, the practice benefits from excellent public transport links, offering easy access to Central London and surrounding areas. The practice has a strong focus on teamwork, clinical development, and building long-lasting relationships with clients and patients.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position with a flexible rota. The role includes a share of the weekend rota and requires confidence with sole charge. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities associated with this position, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will manage a varied small animal caseload within a supportive and expanding team. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues with strong interests in surgery, providing excellent exposure to a wide range of cases. You will be encouraged to develop your clinical interests, with support available for further study and Certificate progression. A strong emphasis is placed on continuity of care, client relationships, and collaborative working.

Team Size
You will join a friendly and energetic team consisting of three Veterinary Surgeons, three Registered Veterinary Nurses, two Student Veterinary Nurses, one Veterinary Care Assistant, and two Receptionists. The team works closely together to deliver high-quality patient care in a positive and inclusive environment.

Practice Details
The practice is well equipped with modern facilities to support high clinical standards. Equipment includes ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. The practice sees a wide and varied small animal caseload and benefits from a modern, well-organised clinical environment.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon confident with routine consultations and surgeries and capable of working sole charge when required. You will be approachable, enthusiastic, and caring, with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in building strong client and patient relationships. A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary care are essential.
