Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a dedicated and well-rounded GP Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
Working Hours / Rota
Salary: £38,000–£65,000 (dependent on experience and rota)
224 hours holiday per year (increasing to 264 after 2 years)
Role Description
The diary includes a mixture of consults and operating time. Consultations are typically 15 minutes, with extended slots for complex cases and euthanasia. Surgical procedures include routine neutering, lumpectomies, dentals, and more advanced surgeries such as splenectomies and foreign body removals, depending on experience and interest. Responsibilities also include in-patient management with support from a skilled nursing team. Spacious consult rooms and strong support staff help ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

3 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 Kennel Assistant, 4 Receptionists, 1 RVN Practice Manager
Practice Details
RCVS-accredited practice located within a shopping centre, with modern facilities and ongoing investment in equipment. Nursing and reception teams are skilled at triaging calls to support efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate
A motivated Veterinary Surgeon with good general practice experience, confident in both consultations and surgery. Someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
