Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their established team in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-located first-opinion practice managing a varied medical and surgical caseload within a supportive clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week over 4 days.

The weekend rota is 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital in Leamington Spa.

Consult-only options are available for candidates who prefer a non-surgical focus.

Role Description
You will deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures, ensuring high standards of regulatory and operational compliance.

The role offers exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, allowing you to develop strong case continuity and client relationships.

You will be responsible for creating tailored treatment plans, communicating clearly with clients and collaborating effectively with the wider team to maintain excellent patient outcomes.

You will also contribute positively to the clinical culture, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues where appropriate.

Team Structure
You will work alongside 3 Client Care Assistants, a Veterinary Care Assistant and regular Veterinary Surgeon and RVN locums within a collaborative and supportive practice environment.

Practice Facilities
The clinic includes three consult rooms and separate dog and cat waiting areas, creating a calm and organised environment for patients and clients.

The practice benefits from excellent transport links, including a nearby train station, and is located in the historic town of Kenilworth with easy access to Leamington Spa, Coventry and Birmingham.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and client care.

You will be confident managing both medical and surgical cases, enjoy working as part of a team and thrive in a first-opinion setting.
