Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice in Binley, Coventry is a friendly and well-supported small animal surgery looking to welcome an additional Veterinary Surgeon to its close-knit clinical team. The practice offers an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking strong teamwork, professional development and varied case exposure within a supportive working environment.
The surgery works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing access to additional facilities, emergency support and wider clinical communities.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours across 4 days per week.
The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital alongside participation in the bank holiday and on-call rota.
Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for delivering high standards of patient care across consultations and surgery while maintaining excellent clinical, operational and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, managing cases collaboratively with the wider team and contributing positively to the ongoing development of clinical standards and patient care within the practice.
The role also offers excellent opportunities for professional development through funded certificates, internal CPD and access to wider clinical communities and referral support.
Team Size
The practice team includes the Branch Partner alongside a Head Nurse, Student Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Care Assistant and Receptionist working together within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The practice is supported by a nearby 24-hour hospital providing access to emergency and advanced care facilities alongside additional clinical support and development opportunities.
Located in Coventry, the surgery offers a varied first opinion caseload within a welcoming and community-focused practice environment.
