Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week across a 4-day week, with a 1 in 9 Saturday rota.

Role Description
This role offers exposure to a diverse caseload, primarily consisting of sick and injured pets, providing an excellent opportunity to develop both medical and surgical skills. You will handle a wide variety of cases, including complex orthopaedic conditions and intricate medical cases, while contributing to continuous clinical improvement. The position encourages ongoing learning and professional development, allowing you to expand your clinical interests and capabilities.

Team Size
You will be part of a supportive and inclusive team environment that operates without hierarchy, encouraging collaboration, shared learning, and equal contribution from all team members.

Practice Details
The clinic features 7 consulting rooms, two operating theatres, and a dedicated x-ray suite. It is a cat-friendly practice with separate dog and cat wards. The facilities are fully equipped to support a wide range of procedures, including advanced services such as cardiac scanning, alongside handling both routine and complex orthopaedic and medical cases.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years’ experience, who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. You will be confident managing a varied caseload, have strong clinical and communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment.
