Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-equipped branch in Bedworth, Warwickshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven clinician to help drive high clinical standards and build a dedicated client base within a refurbished, spacious and modern practice.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week over 4 days.

The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital in Leamington.

Role Description
You will deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures, maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance.

The role includes preparing accurate treatment plans and estimates, providing clear client communication, completing clinical handovers and supporting the effective use of nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures.

You will also contribute to mentoring and developing colleagues, promoting a progressive clinical culture and sharing best practice within the wider veterinary community.

Team Size
You will work within a supportive branch team and collaborate closely with the 24-hour hospital team for out-of-hours and advanced care support.

Practice Details
The light, airy and recently refurbished branch offers separate dog, cat and isolation wards, a large prep area, spacious theatre and three consulting rooms.

Diagnostic facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound and dental X-ray, supporting a varied and interesting caseload within a modern clinical environment.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience delivering high standards of patient and client care.

You will demonstrate clinical leadership skills, experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, and the ability to coach and influence colleagues positively.

A proactive mindset, commitment to clinical excellence and strong teamwork skills are essential for this role.
