Job Description

Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a dynamic veterinarian to join their brand-new Basingstoke surgery. This practice is part of a growing independent veterinary group with a focus on providing excellent client and patient care while fostering a supportive and flexible work environment.

This position offers a full-time rota of a 4-day week with every other Saturday morning required. Part-time hours are also available. The rota includes no on-call, no Sundays, and no bank holiday work.

The surgery is equipped with modern facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and an Idexx in-house integrated laboratory. There are dedicated surgical facilities, utilized both for the practice’s use and visiting referral surgeons. The practice is located adjacent to Pets Corner in the busy Chineham Retail Park, providing high visibility and foot traffic.

The practice is part of a larger veterinary group with 25 surgeons and 100 staff members, all working collaboratively. Staff loyalty is fostered through mutual respect, flexible working arrangements, and investment in both staff and facilities.

As part of this role, you will work alongside the practice owner and visiting orthopaedic and soft tissue referral surgeons. You will have the opportunity to work in a shared rota, including sole charge responsibilities, while also receiving ample support from the wider team of surgeons and on-site nurses. This role provides the opportunity to be part of a close-knit and supportive team.

Our client is looking for a veterinarian with at least two years’ experience. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, team-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent veterinary care.
