Our client is a corporately owned 24-hour veterinary hospital seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and progressive team. This role offers an innovative rota structure that allows you to enjoy more time off while maintaining a rewarding clinical career. Working Hours / Rota
This position is based on 40 hours per week, worked across four days. The rota includes just one Bank Holiday per year and provides six consecutive days off each week, offering an exceptional work-life balance.

Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures, providing clear communication with clients, and preparing tailored treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include mentoring colleagues, completing thorough clinical handovers, and contributing to a culture of clinical excellence within the hospital. You will also be encouraged to pursue further professional development, including funded certificates and internal CPD.

Team Size
The practice benefits from an excellent vet-to-nurse ratio, supported by a proactive Practice Manager and a Branch Partner with a strong interest in internal medicine. The team also includes a Certificate Holder and carries out advanced procedures including laparoscopic spays and orthopaedics.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in delivering high standards of care to both patients and clients. You should demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills, alongside the ability to mentor and support colleagues. Previous experience with complex procedures and a progressive clinical approach are desirable. Most importantly, you should value a balanced lifestyle while maintaining a commitment to clinical excellence.
