This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a growing and supportive team committed to delivering outstanding patient care and customer service.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week. The role includes participation in a one in four weekend rota, with duty nights covered on a rotational basis. The rota is designed to provide structure, variety, and strong team support within a busy clinical environment.
Role Description
The Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care across a varied and engaging caseload. You will support consultations, surgical procedures, inpatient care, and nurse-led activities while working collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider nursing team. The role offers excellent exposure to advanced facilities and encourages professional development, initiative, and continuous improvement.
Team Size
You will join a large and diverse veterinary team made up of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, students, and support staff. Many colleagues are actively working towards certificates, creating a strong learning culture and collaborative working environment.
Practice Details
The practice is purpose-built and exceptionally well equipped, offering outstanding facilities to support gold-standard patient care. These include multiple consultation rooms, operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite, an ultrasound suite, a CT imaging suite, separate dog and cat wards, and multiple preparation areas. The practice delivers care day and night, providing exposure to a broad range of medical and surgical cases.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse who is enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team player. You will enjoy working across a varied caseload, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be keen to develop professionally within a supportive and progressive environment. A passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care is essential.
