Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing, supportive practice that is passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service to its local community.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The role includes participation in a 1:4 weekend rota as well as duty nights on rotation, offering exposure to a varied and interesting caseload while remaining part of a structured and supportive rota.

Role Description
This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys a varied caseload and thrives in a busy, collaborative environment. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day nursing duties across the practice, working closely with veterinary surgeons and the wider support team to deliver consistently high standards of care. The practice places strong emphasis on continuous learning, and you will be encouraged to take full advantage of the professional development opportunities available to further develop your clinical skills and confidence.

Team Size
You will be joining a well-balanced team made up of four Registered Veterinary Nurses, four Veterinary Surgeons with a fifth joining soon, and a strong reception team of seven colleagues. The veterinary team includes clinicians currently studying towards certificates in medicine and surgery, creating a positive learning-focused environment.

Practice Details
This is a purpose-built, modern veterinary practice with excellent facilities and a passionate team committed to providing high-quality care day and night. Many team members are working towards additional qualifications to enhance clinical standards and expand the services offered. The nursing team benefits from a wide mix of experience levels, creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere within the practice. As part of a nationwide, independent, family-owned veterinary group, the practice continues to invest in people, facilities, and technology.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is enthusiastic, reliable, and a true team player. You will have strong communication skills, enjoy supporting colleagues, and feel confident working across a varied caseload. A genuine interest in ongoing learning and professional development is essential, along with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent patient and client care.
