You will carry out Schedule 3 procedures such as administering injections, medications, fluid therapy, and first aid as directed.
You will provide high-quality inpatient care, including some intensive care nursing, pain scoring, and ensuring appropriate enrichment for longer-stay patients. The role also includes running advanced nurse-led clinics covering behavioural advice, dental care, weight management, pain management, arthritis, diabetes, and new puppy and kitten appointments.
You will dispense medications in line with professional guidelines, maintain accurate clinical records, and work closely with the Practice Owner and senior team members to support the smooth day-to-day running and ongoing development of the practice.
Team Size
The team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 5 Client Care Advisors. The practice is led by an experienced Practice Owner and Vet, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
