Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s practice is based in Aigburth, a beautiful leafy suburb of South Liverpool, offering a fantastic working environment within a vibrant local community. The practice is looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and close-knit team.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days. The rota includes either 1 in 4 Saturdays or 1 in 8 full weekends with time back. There is also a requirement to work 1 bank holiday per year and up to 2 weeks per year on call.

Role Description
The role involves delivering nurse-led appointments, supporting vets with procedures, assisting with consults, surgeries and Schedule 3 activities, and maintaining high standards of patient monitoring and care. You will also manage admissions and discharges, deliver excellent client care, and work collaboratively within a supportive team. This is a busy and rewarding role with a varied caseload, including both routine and more complex procedures.

Team Size
The team is close-knit and supportive, made up of 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 1 SVN and a receptionist.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with previous experience, a passion for exceptional patient and client care, and a strong team-focused approach. They will be confident delivering nurse-led appointments, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining high regulatory, practice and operational standards.
