Introduction
Our Client’s hospital is a purpose-led small animal veterinary hospital based in Huyton, Liverpool, committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care to pets whose owners may be facing financial hardship. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. The hospital places a strong emphasis on work–life balance and operates a supportive rota. Both full-time and part-time working patterns will be considered, offering flexibility to suit individual needs.
Role Description
This is a varied and hands-on role for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment. Duties include nurse consultations, inpatient care, dispensing medications and assisting in theatre, including Schedule 3 procedures. You will be actively involved across all areas of the hospital, maintaining high standards of patient care while supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. There is a strong focus on client communication, animal welfare and continuous improvement, with opportunities to share ideas and develop professionally.
Team Size
You will be working as part of a close-knit, collaborative hospital team with a wide range of clinical interests, encouraging shared learning, case discussion and strong peer support.

Facilities include separate dog and cat kennelling, advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and shared clinical knowledge. Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS)
