Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s practice is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their growing and dedicated team in Lincoln. This purpose-built, modern surgery is the newest within their group and is equipped with the latest technology to support high clinical standards. The team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and customer service, working in a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages professional development and continuous learning.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working on a rota basis. The role includes 1 in 4 weekends and may include evening shifts and nurse care nights where required. Flexibility is expected to provide cover for absences and occasional weekend requirements, with accommodation provided for nurse care nights where applicable.

Role Description
As a key member of the clinical team, the Registered Veterinary Nurse will assist Veterinary Surgeons in delivering outstanding clinical care and customer service. Duties include theatre nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, laboratory work, radiography, nurse consultations, euthanasia assistance, and supporting Schedule 3 procedures. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, preparing theatres, dispensing medications, stock control, and maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the practice.

You will play an active role in preventive healthcare, promoting pet wellbeing and delivering nurse clinics. There is opportunity to act as a clinical coach for student nurses, providing structured support and mentorship. Continuous professional development is strongly encouraged, with support for certificate progression and skill enhancement.
