Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an independent, family-owned small animal practice based in Kingswinford, who are actively recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their purpose-built clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a progressive, rapidly growing group that prides itself on a Fear Free centred approach to veterinary care

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are shared on a rota basis between 8.30am–4.30pm and 11am–7pm, with 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (8.30am–1pm).

Role Description
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of nursing responsibilities, including nurse clinics, assisting with general first opinion theatre work, and performing Schedule 3 procedures where applicable. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care while contributing to the smooth running of this busy and supportive clinic.

Team Size
You will join a close-knit team that already includes 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a wider support team, working together in a positive and collaborative environment.

Practice Details
This modern, purpose-built practice is just 3 years old and designed to deliver a high standard of veterinary care in a welcoming, supportive atmosphere. The practice is part of a rapidly expanding independent group led by experienced and approachable owners who are actively involved day-to-day. They foster a culture where team members are supported, encouraged to grow, and can enjoy their career in a fun and dynamic setting. The practice is the only veterinary practice outside of North America to be Fear Free accredited, reflecting their commitment to delivering the very best care for pets.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate about both pets and people, with a strong interest in providing Fear Free, patient-centred care. You should enjoy working as part of a close, supportive team, thrive in a busy clinical environment, and be eager to further develop your nursing career.
