Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned, not-for-profit veterinary hospital preparing to launch a brand-new 24-hour facility in Hull, expanding its services across Yorkshire. Opening in January 2027, the hospital will provide accessible, affordable, high-quality veterinary care with a strong focus on continuous patient care and emergency services. Its transparent pricing model and commitment to removing financial barriers to treatment create a varied and rewarding caseload, offering excellent opportunities for professional development.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across a four-day week. The role includes a shared weekend rota of 2 in 9 weekends.
Role Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a brand-new hospital from day one and help shape its future. Working within a nurse-led environment, you will be encouraged to make full use of your clinical skills while playing a key role in delivering outstanding patient care. The varied caseload offers exposure to both routine and emergency cases, ensuring no two days are the same while providing excellent opportunities to develop professionally within a supportive and collaborative team.
Team Size
You will become part of a growing multidisciplinary team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff, all committed to delivering high-quality, affordable veterinary care while building a positive and supportive hospital culture.
Practice Details
The hospital is a brand-new, purpose-built 24-hour veterinary facility due to open in January 2027. It will provide first opinion, emergency and inpatient care while operating with a strong commitment to accessible veterinary services. Ideal Candidate
